Who We Treat

Newport’s Acre residential treatment center serves children ages 7–12 and teens ages 12-17 who are struggling with severe mental health, behavioral or substance use issues that can’t be addressed in a home or outpatient setting.

This level of care provides a full schedule of support and healing for children and adolescents. Each child’s individualized treatment plan incorporates evidence-based clinical and experiential modalities, plus robust academic support, to create long-term, sustainable healing.

Our children’s program is equipped with a playroom, sensory toys and swing, weighted stuffed animals, and a rock climbing wall.
