As Vice President of Operations at Newport Academy, Ted Guastello oversees the clinical team, leadership team, and direct care staff. Overall, Ted ensures that Newport Academy’s standard of excellence is upheld and the highest quality of care is provided. His background in counseling informs his expertise in coordinating day-to-day operations.
Ted has served in several capacities in the treatment field, including executive director, treatment coordinator, clinical coordinator, counselor, and advisor. His responsibilities have included oversight of counselors and therapists, and development of an effective treatment curriculum for residential and outpatient programs. Early in his career, Ted also was the marketing director for the renowned Harvard Book Store in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
