Ray has been working in the mental health and substance use treatment fields since 2010, in both nonprofit and for-profit sectors. He has held clinical and leadership positions in settings ranging from the Department of Children and Families in Florida to prevention programs run by the juvenile justice system. A Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Ray holds a master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pfeiffer University in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is also an approved supervisor for associate-level marriage and family therapists and clinical mental health counselors in North and South Carolina.
