Director of Alumni Services
Prior to joining the Newport Academy team in 2014, Caydin Sanders served as Lead Residential Associate at Childhelp, supporting abused, neglected, and at-risk children. In addition, she worked closely with the founder and CEO of The Teen Project to develop and implement a housing and education program to support young women at risk for homelessness. Moreover, Caydin volunteers as an event photographer for Covenant House California, a nonprofit shelter that provides sanctuary and supportive services to homeless and trafficked youth. Caydin cites Dorothy Day as a primary inspiration, in particular her servant spirit and her advocacy for those in need.
Newport Academy…in her own words
“Courage is contagious. At Newport Academy, I am surrounded by colleagues and families who are courageously stepping into their best lives on a daily basis. It’s a celebration to walk alongside those who are saying ‘yes’ to their journey.”–Caydin Sanders
