Each adolescent receives an individualized treatment plan covered by Newport Academy tuition, which may include medication management; individual, family, and group therapy; experiential activities; and academic and life skills programming.
Our Admissions and Utilization Review teams work with families’ insurers to cover as much as possible of the Newport Academy cost. We are in network with many major insurance companies, and we have years of experience navigating both in-network and out-of-network coverage to reduce the cost of treatment. Private insurance or private pay is preferred; public insurance accepted only in limited locations and situations.
What Newport Academy Tuition Includes
The cost of Newport Academy covers a wide range of services and amenities. First and foremost, the price of Newport Academy treatment covers the highest-quality medical and clinical care, provided by our experienced and caring team of psychiatrists, nurses, and individual and family therapists. In our residential program locations, Newport Academy tuition also includes the cost of healthy meals and snacks, as well as housing in comfortable, home-like healing environments.
Furthermore, all Newport Academy clients engage in experiential therapy, such as music and art therapy, equine therapy, yoga and movement, and outdoor adventures like kayaking, skiing, ropes courses, and standup paddle boarding (depending on location). Experiential activities are guided by trained facilitators and are included in the cost of Newport Academy.
In addition, the Newport Academy price at our residential and Partial Hospitalization Program locations includes individualized academic instruction and specialized tutoring. Our strengths-based educational component is designed to close proficiency gaps and ensure teens continue to progress in their education while receiving the treatment they need. We guide students to build the skills, inspiration, and motivation that will help them succeed once they return to their home school.
Our Levels of Care
Newport Academy price ranges vary for each of our levels of care. Our residential treatment programs provide structured medical and clinical care for acute mental health issues within a supportive environment. Additionally, we offer a full continuum of outpatient care, including full-day Partial Hospitalization Programs, Intensive Outpatient Programs with afternoon hours, outpatient services, and virtual outpatient care.
Newport Academy residential programs are located in states including California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, Utah, Virginia, and Washington State. We also have Newport Academy outpatient locations in each of these states, as well as in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. And we continue to expand in areas around the country where youth mental health services are most needed.
When possible, our teen residential clients segue into outpatient care with Newport after discharge from residential treatment. This results in greater continuity and effectiveness of care. Moreover, this helps with the cost of Newport Academy, since our team is already familiar with your insurance policy. This way, they can continue to work with your insurance company and access benefits for outpatient care as well as residential.
