Tamara Hammouri, MS, I-CADCII
Tamara Hammouri has more than 18 years of experience serving adults and children with special needs or mental health disorders. She specializes in crisis therapy, trauma-centered therapeutic approaches, addictive pattern changing, relapse prevention, and expressive arts modalities, including dance and creative movement therapy.
Tamara was the founder and co-director of a charter school in Hawaii. In addition, she spent six years working with Care Hawaii as a crisis therapist, case manager, youth and adult counselor, and program director. Moreover, she maintained a private practice for three years, and spent five years serving children with special needs at Paladin Academy near Miami, Florida. Tamara also worked with the Homeless Writers Coalition on Skid Row in Los Angeles.
