Dr. Rizwan Parvez, MD
Rizwan Parvez, MD, specializes in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. After earning his medical degree from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, he trained in Adult Psychiatry at the Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Parvez spent two years as a fellow at Yale University School of Medicine, training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Yale Child Study Center.
Dr. Parvez is the former Medical Director of Adolescent Services at Waterbury Hospital, Waterbury, Connecticut, and maintains a private practice in Glastonbury, Connecticut, working with children, adolescents, and adults. His former positions include Principal Psychiatrist for the state of Connecticut.
