Rebecca Vattuone, MS, LPC
Rebecca S. Vattuone, MS, LPC, brings to Newport Academy more than 12 years of clinical experience in the mental health field, working in a variety of treatment settings—including emergency mobile psychiatric services for children and adolescents, adolescent group homes, outpatient clinics, and in-home intensive family therapy.
A Connecticut native, Rebecca is a graduate of Pratt Institute and Central Connecticut State University, where she earned her master’s degree in Professional Counseling, completing her thesis on the use of art therapy in a residential setting. Rebecca’s primary focus has been in forensics and helping young adults transition into adult services. She believes in a personal, hands-on approach with each client and family. Her special skills include fluency in Spanish.
Rebecca is married and the mother of three young children.
