Peyton Yardley, CADC-II
Peyton Yardley came to California as a teenager to begin her own recovery journey, which evolved into a passion for working with people struggling with addiction and mental health. In recovery since 2009, Peyton brings to her work immense empathy for families that are struggling, and finds great joy in watching the light come back into teens’ lives. Before joining the Newport Academy team in 2015, she held positions as a case manager at Safe Harbor Treatment Center for Women, in Costa Mesa, California; and as an activities director for children with disabilities at Mission Road Developmental Center in San Antonio, Texas.
Newport Academy…in her own words.
“There is nothing better than watching our kids get back to being kids. I have never found another environment where I have so much respect for and belief in the mission. Newport Academy is a place where teenagers find their people, and that really shows when I see our alumni come back weekly for our recovery meetings. You cannot fabricate or force that kind of love and friendship—it has to be grown, and that’s what Newport Academy does. I cannot believe how lucky I am to be part of something that brings families together and honors the path that each of our kids is on.” —Peyton Yardley
