Nicolas Silva Jr., LMFT
Nicolas Silva Jr. has expertise in treating anxiety and depression and helping clients improve social skills as a personal therapist. Over the past seven years, Nicolas has been trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy, and grief and recovery. While completing his master’s degree, Nicolas participated in the PRYDE program, a collaboration between Pepperdine University and the Orange County Sheriff Department to provide psychotherapy services for first-time offenders as an alternative to incarceration. Prior to working at Newport Academy, Nicolas spent two years as an Individual Therapist for children with autism.
