Danielle Croteau, MS, LPC
Danielle Croteau has been working in the mental health field since 2010, first as direct care staff and then as a counselor. She specializes in treating depression, anxiety, and substance abuse. Moreover, her approach focuses on helping clients build a solid foundation of self-esteem and self-empowerment, as a basis for healing mental health and behavioral challenges.
Danielle excels at connecting with teenagers, and nothing is more rewarding to her than knowing that she has made a difference in someone’s life. “When I observe the light bulb moment when an individual is ready to commit to change, that is what fuels me,” Danielle says. “Each and every individual that I am lucky enough to work with inspires me to improve my skills in this field.”
Newport Academy…in her own words
“Newport Academy is an environment directed at meeting teens where they are, and empowering them to learn new coping skills and effective ways to communicate—while allowing them to be vulnerable and authentic.”–Danielle Croteau
