Brendan Stack, LADC
Brendan Stack has always had a passion for helping others, especially when it comes to issues he personally struggled with in his adolescent years, including addiction, depression, and anxiety. As a Counselor at Newport Academy, Brendan has a certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) from the Cleveland Center of Cognitive Therapy. He uses this modality, alongside Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) in his work treating addiction, depression, and anxiety in young adults at Newport Academy.
Brendan completed his bachelor’s degree at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia before studying for his master’s degree in Counseling at Post University in Connecticut. Prior to joining Newport Academy, Brendan worked as a Recovery Coach at Mountainside where he taught young adults life skills and support during recovery. He has also worked at MCCA as a Clinician providing therapy for young adults struggling with co-occurring disorders.
