Our Relationship with You

Our team works hand in hand with behavioral health professionals so that teens and their families who come to us experience an easy and supported process. You’ll become a valued member of the treatment team that surrounds each teen and family with a full spectrum of care—whether they’re struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, or another mental health diagnosis. 

Ongoing Communication

We hold the highest standards for communication with our referring professionals. You’ll receive ongoing updates while your client is with us (with an appropriate ROI on file) and you’ll serve as an instrumental part of their support system as they progress in treatment. 

Dedicated Representatives

Our national team of Clinical Outreach Specialists and our on-site Primary Therapists serve as primary points of contact for referring professionals, ensuring that you receive information about your client’s admissions process, progress during treatment, and discharge plan.  

Continuing Education & Connection

As part of our community, you also have access to continuing education courses and virtual and in-person networking events. You also connect with an integrated team of experienced and accredited behavioral health and psychiatric professionals who can serve as a resource for your practice, company, or organization.

What kinds of disorders do you treat?

At Newport Academy, we treat adolescents who are seeking positive growth and recovery from teen mental health disorders and co-occurring issues, including:

Who will be treating my client? Are there physicians and psychiatrists on staff?

Each client’s treatment team includes a psychiatrist, family therapist, individual therapist, academic teachers and tutors, counselors, medical experts such as doctors, nurses, and dieticians, and a continuing care planner dedicated to developing an after-care plan for your teen following treatment. In addition, clients in residential treatment are supported by Care Coordinators, Program Managers, and Residential Supervisors.

Who should I contact regarding my client who is in treatment?

Referring providers will be in communication with their client’s clinical team once a week at minimum, via email or phone depending on your preference. Referring providers are kept informed throughout their client’s treatment stay and are also involved in the discharge planning process. We value the insight and experience of referring providers and consider them an integral part of their client’s treatment team.

Do you accept insurance?

We work with most major insurance companies, including PPO, HMO, POS, and EPO plans to optimize access to care for teens and families. As a result, the highest quality healthcare treatment is accessible for your patients, and their out-of-pocket expenses are reduced.
