| Have you noticed that your motivation and ambition have decreased since drinking or using drugs? | |
| Do you tend to think about or crave having a drink or drug at a certain time of day? | |
| Do you ever drink or use drugs so that you will fit in with a certain group of friends? | |
| Do you tell yourself you can stop drinking or using at any time? | |
| Do you drink or use drugs to escape from worries or trouble? | |
| Have you ever had a complete loss of memory as a result of drinking or drugs? | |
| Have you ever felt that your life would be better if you did not drink or use drugs? |
If you’ve checked one of the above questions, this is a warning sign that you may have a problem with substance abuse and should consider speaking with a professional regarding appropriate treatment options.
