Jake is an Appendix Quarter Horse who is 20 years old and is an old pro at Equine Therapy as a Certified Therapy Horse through the CTHA. In fact, Jake served in the Mounted Patrol in San Diego for 7 years before he came to Pegasus in 2002. He is a natural at knowing exactly what each client’s needs are and he will express through non-verbal communication the hidden secrets to growth. He has helped over 2000 individuals begin their journey to new lives. Newport Academy is very lucky to have a horse as sweet and patient as Jake on-site to work with our girls.
