Holly Johnson

Credentialed Teacher
Boys Campus

Holly Johnson was raised in Orange Country and comes from a family of teachers. She adds, “I always knew I would become a teacher, I just didn’t know what I would teach. I started writing for fun and then joined my schools journalism class and began writing for my school paper. It was then that my love for reading and writing bloomed into my career path.” Holly went to Saddleback College and then to California State University Fullerton (CSUF) where she received her Bachelors Degree in English. From CSUF Holly went to National University and pursued her teaching credential and a Masters’ degree where she wrote a thesis on ‘Technology In The Classroom.’

Holly has worked as a substitute teacher for the Orange Unified School District from 2007-2011 and has enjoyed working in a highly respected State of California public school district. Holly believes “that education is the key to our success and that our students need to grab onto every opportunity and follow their hearts into their future career paths.” She adds, “It took me a few years to reach my goals but I’m a firm believer that life really is about the journey. We need to realize that life will not always be an easy road and to remember just when the caterpillar thought its life was over, it became a butterfly.” Holly hopes to write a book in the future and continue inspiring teens in areas of education, preparation for college, and in working with families to insure that academic goals are achieved.
