In the fall of 1998 and at the age of 23 Gabrielle was admitted into a 28-day program for chemical dependency.  Her 11 year battle with drugs and alcohol culminated in a near death overdose of benzodiazepines. Through the love of her family, and the skill of her psychiatrist, she was intervened upon and brought to treatment. Over a decade later she has enjoyed continuous sobriety and dedicated herself to helping better the lives of all who are touched by addiction.

Ms. Reinhard has worked for several of the nation’s most respected treatment centers in the area of clinical outreach. She has worked closely with schools, youth organizations, peer recovery groups and with various outpatient treatment providers. In 2007 she founded Gabrielle Reinhard Recovery Care Management, a crisis management and reintegration service that provides interventions, treatment consultations and recovery coaching. Her personal motto is “whatever it takes” and she is known to live and work “outside of the box” understanding young people’s need to experience as opposed to being told what to do. Gabby can be found skydiving, rock climbing, skiing and playing the drums with her young clients demonstrating the possibility of fun without artificial assistance.

As a sought after consultant in the field of addiction treatment, Ms. Reinhard brings a high level of peer respect and professional integrity to her work with Newport Academy. In 2006 she was recognized by Caron Treatment Centers as an individual who has given unselfishly to enhance drug and alcohol awareness, prevention and education and awarded their “Unsung Hero” honor.
