Ashley Self, Care Coordinator

Care Coordinator

Ashley came to Orange County from Utah to get involved in the strong recovery community and build a solid foundation for her own personal sobriety. She attended the University of Southern California in 2003 and is presently enrolled at Orange Coast College as a psychology major. She plans to return to USC to receive her Bachelor’s degree in psychology with an emphasis on counseling. Ashley currently manages a sober living facility in Newport Beach for women who have struggled with substance abuse and eating disorders. She is an active participant in the 12-Step community and demonstrates her passion for recovery as a sponsor, offering support and direction and guiding young women through the steps. Her goal at Newport Academy is to use her own personal experience to make a difference in the lives of adolescent girls striving to overcome addictions, helping them identify their passions and rediscover their dreams.
